Andrea Nuvoloni was born in Brescia on the 11/7/82 but he grew up and took his first pictures in Verona, where he still lives and works. After a first exploration of portraiture and a study of the landscape and its abstractions he approached travel and reportage photography.
From 2007 onward he kept moving and shooting between Asia, America and Europe.
In 2013 he exhibited at the Church of St. Peter Martyr in Piazza Sant’Anastasia in Verona, a solo exhibition “I’m Not There”, curated by Livia Dubon. A study on the Asinara prison’s ruins, of the former Psychiatric Hospital of Granzette and on the abandoned sugar mill of San Bonifacio.
In 2016 he participated in two collective exhibitions, in Livorno and in Paris, within the ImageNation project.
While travelling around the world Andrea has always cultivated wedding photography approaching the most classic of photographic genre with an innovative aesthetic and narrative choices. Posed photos and classical didactic compositions that fall shorts expressing the emotions of the spouses’ most beautiful day are replaced by an unconventional narration of the events that faithfully reproduces the emotions and unrepeatable moments of the day with the due discretion required. A wedding reportage, shot on tiptoes.
